Installing Zalman CPNS7000A-ALCU onto Abit IC7-MAX3 In an attempt to make my PC a bit quieter i'd installed an Enermax UC-A8FATR4 fan controler but found the stock intel cooler fan did not like being throttled down to a lower speed. So i opted for the Zalman CPNS7000A-ALCU instead, because it was quiet and actually fitted around the IC7-MAX3's OTES ducting. The HSF itself: Ok, first off remove the old cooler and apply Arctic Silver to the chip Then install CPU and the retention clips. Then simply screw down the cooler... simple! |
